Terms & Conditions - Vehicle Sales & Finance
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before committing to a vehicle purchase or submitting a finance application. By placing a deposit or signing an order form with Sovereign Marques Limited ('we', 'us', 'our'), you ( 'the Client', 'you') agree to be legally bound by this framework.
Vehicle Orders & Specification Accuracy
-
Inventory Representation: All supercar and hypercar listings displayed on our digital showroom are representations of active or incoming stock. Minor variances in mileage, history, or exact specification may occur prior to final invoicing.
-
Bespoke Orders: For investment-grade hypercars (e.g., Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg CCX), the exact configuration, physical location, and mechanical provenance will be detailed exclusively in a separate, customized Vehicle Order Form.
Financial Brokerage & Funding Mechanics
-
Our Regulatory Status: Sovereign Marques Limited is a credit broker, not a direct lender. We operate under Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorisation to introduce you to a pre-vetted panel of specialist asset lenders.
-
Finance Subject to Status: All calculations provided by our digital Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) and Hire Purchase (HP) sections are illustrative representative examples (fixed at an 8.9% Representative APR, 20% deposit baseline). Final monthly instalments and balloon payments are subject to manual underwriter approval, asset valuation, and personal or corporate credit underwriting.
-
Commission Disclosure: We may receive a fixed or variable introductory commission from our lending panel upon successful execution of your finance agreement. This fee does not affect your monthly repayments or total amount payable.
Holding Deposits & Vehicle Reservation
-
Reservation Security: To withdraw one of our stock vehicles from active global marketing, a non-refundable holding deposit is required. The deposit value scale is strictly fixed by vehicle tier:
-
-
Supercar Tier (Up to £499,999): £5,000 holding deposit.
-
Hypercar Tier (£500,000 and above): £25,000 holding deposit.
-
-
Finance Failure Allocation: If your finance application is formally rejected by our entire lending panel, and an alternative funding source (cash purchase or Lombard facility) cannot be secured within 14 calendar days, your holding deposit will be refunded in full, less a £250 administrative and credit-processing fee.
Vehicle Delivery, Handover & Title Transfer
-
Title Restrictions (HP/PCP): If you fund your vehicle via a Hire Purchase or Personal Contract Purchase framework, ownership of the asset stays with the finance company until all principal, interest, and the final payment (including the £10 Option to Purchase fee for HP, or the structural balloon for PCP) are cleared in full.
-
Asset Release Protocol: No supercar or hypercar will be released for delivery or collection until Sovereign Marques receives clear, irrevocable written payout confirmation from the financing bank.
-
Handover Inspection: The client must sign a comprehensive Vehicle Handover Protocol document at the time of delivery. Any cosmetic or structural discrepancies must be noted immediately before the keys are surrendered.
Cancellation & Consumer Distance Selling Rights
-
Distance Contracts: In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if your vehicle purchase is executed entirely online or over the telephone without prior physical inspection at our showroom, you retain a statutory right to cancel the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of physical delivery.
-
Vehicle Usage Restrictions: If a distance contract is cancelled, the vehicle must be returned to Sovereign Marques in the identical pristine cosmetic condition in which it was delivered. A statutory usage deduction fee of £5.00 per mile will be levied for every mile driven during the 14-day window.
-
Finance Agreement Linked Cancellation: Cancelling your vehicle order automatically terminates any linked PCP or HP credit agreement. Any cooling-off period parameters are governed strictly by your specific contract terms with the providing bank.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
-
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed entirely by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
-
FCA Complaints Handling: If you have a formal complaint regarding how your vehicle finance was brokered, please contact our compliance department immediately. If we cannot resolve your dispute within 8 weeks, you retain the right to escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
