Online or provisional valuations do not constitute a binding offer to purchase. Where outstanding finance is settled on behalf of a client, the agreement is subject to receiving an official, in-date settlement letter from the relevant finance company.
Sovereign Marques is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for credit brokerage activities. Consignment agreements (Sale or Return) are governed by our standard legal terms, which will be provided and signed by both parties prior to marketing.
What documents do I need to provide?
To complete any transaction or consignment agreement, you will need to provide:

The V5C logbook (registered in your name)

How long does a consignment agreement last?
Our standard consignment (Sale or Return) agreement is for a fixed period of 90 days. This allows us sufficient time to professionally detail, photograph, market, and secure a qualified buyer for your vehicle. If the car sells faster, your payout is processed immediately.
How and when will I be paid?
For a direct purchase, we initiate an immediate BACS electronic bank transfer once the final vehicle inspection is complete. Funds typically clear in your account before we take possession of the car.
For consignment sales, funds are cleared and transferred to you immediately following the successful handover to the new owner and completion of the cooling-off period.
Can you buy my car if it has outstanding finance?
Yes. We regularly deal with major automotive finance houses. We will contact your lender to secure an official settlement figure, pay them directly, and transfer any remaining equity straight into your bank account.
What if my car has modified parts or an aftermarket exhaust?
We heavily prioritise factory-original or highly authentic specifications. However, we do accept vehicles with high-end, documented modifications (such as Akrapovič or Novitec systems) provided they are accompanied by professional installation invoices and do not invalidate any existing manufacturer warranties.
