Why We Use Copper Stills For Gin Production
Copper stills are widely used and essential in traditional gin production because copper efficiently conducts heat for precise temperature control and chemically reacts with sulphur compounds, removing unwanted flavours for a cleaner, smoother, and more aromatic spirit.
While other materials can be used, copper's ability to strip out impurities and enhance flavour makes it the preferred choice for high-quality gin.
