The Ship Inn Bar
The heart of any inn is, of course, its bar, and the Ship Inn's is a fine example of the olde English style, with low beamed ceilings, pine cladding, a flag stone floor, and a roaring log fire for those cold coastal evenings.
Our friendly, characterful bar is suitable for a quiet drink with friends, or great for a social event. There is always a fine selection of award-winning real ales, in addition to a full choice of lagers, bitters, ciders, and stouts, as well as a full range of wines and spirits.
A contemporary menu pairs perfectly with our award-winning ales, fine wines, and barista coffee. All our locally-sourced food is served either in the bar or in our spacious first-floor restaurant.
What’s more, our 3 comfy rooms offer an idyllic place to stay for exploring Brixham and South Devon.
The Ship Inn Restaurant
The Ship Inn is renowned for its delicious, and wonderfully flavoursome food. You can sample our quality cuisine in either our first floor restaurant or bar.
Everything is cooked from the freshest and finest ingredients, which are delivered daily. Being located on the beautiful Devon coast offers us a fantastic natural larder right here on our doorstep. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, sustainable seafood, straight from the day boats, alongside locally reared and matured beef.
We serve breakfast, lunch, and evening meals, and our diverse food and drinks menu caters to all appetites and preferences, including vegan and vegetarian options.
The Ship Inn has a great atmosphere and prides itself on its level of customer service. It makes a great place for friends, families and groups to get together. Why not visit us for business lunches, cosy dinners, Christmas parties, family celebrations, or intimate wedding parties.
The Ship Inn Accommodation
The Ship Inn offers three en-suite rooms comprising one double and two singles, one double and one single, and one double room.
The rooms are tastefully furnished, and individually decorated in a modern style. All of the bathrooms are en-suite with walk-in showers.
Each room has a Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi.
Tea and coffee facilities and a hair dryer are provided in addition to welcome toiletries.
Although our bar is dog friendly, our rooms are not.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7.30am. Our room rates include breakfast.
