Our Cruises
Island Cruising
Come and enjoy a six-day cruise aboard the MV Cuma with all the creature comforts. MV Cuma can take you anywhere in the Hebrides, from North Rona and Sula Sgeir to the north, and the Flannan Isles and St Kilda to the west, to Uist, Barra and the Inner Hebrides to the south.
There is plenty of time scheduled for exploring islands ashore at your own pace. Our experienced crew and onboard library of field guides and books provide all the information and assistance you need to get the most from your holiday.
Special Interests Cruising
Cruises can be arranged to suit the specific interests of your group, perhaps a visit to the mysterious Flannan Isles, St Kilda - Dual World Heritage Site, and/or the world's second largest Grey Seal colony on the Monach Isles.
Combine all three to make the cruise of a lifetime! A wildlife specialist guide can be provided to accompany parties with specific interests onboard and ashore.
Most trips are to St Kilda with some to Mingulay and Barra Head area if a group so wishes.
Activity Cruises - Hillwalking & Kayaking
Hillwalking
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the remote glens and mountains of West Lewis and North Harris made easy by access from seaward.
Visit the mountain tops as you traverse North Harris from Loch Resort to be picked up by MV Cuma at West Loch Tarbert or get dropped off at Loch Resort and picked up at Loch Tamnavay or for the more energetic at Camus Uig in the North. Of course these walks can be done in any direction and you are likely to encounter red deer, golden eagles, sea or white tailed eagles to name but a few.
Kayaking
Bring your Kayaks and paddle around the remote sea lochs and islands where few have done it before (not for the faint-hearted!). A guide/qualified instructor can be arranged, which is advisable.
Have your meals and sleep in the comfort of MV Cuma, pick up your packed lunch after breakfast and paddle off round St Kilda to investigate all of its caves and stacs.
