Shiatsu & Its Origins
Shiatsu originates from Japan, it means ‘pressure with the fingers’.
It is a gentler form of physiotherapy where touch is used to stretch and relax muscles. The therapist uses the fingertips, the whole hand, and elbow, to stimulate blood circulation and eliminate toxins, allowing the body to heal and balance itself.
